Hi BU MET TM 648 Class! My name is Mary Richey. I'm actually a midwesterner that's been transplanted in Boston. I moved here 7 years ago because there wasn't many options for pharmaceutical position left in my area.

I'm sure by now you are aware that I'm getting married at the end of August this year! Kip (my fiance, not Dr. Becker) and I are getting married in Pentwater, Michigan where my parents currently live. It's a lovely little summer resort town on the coast of Lake Michigan.

Welcome! And I hope you enjoy my blog!

These are my Maids of Honor (now know as MOH's)! They are the most wondefully brilliant crew on the planet and I love them all as if they were my sisters.

Molly in the pink, myself, Julie and Maija.

We really hope to be able to find a wonderful honeymoon location. We have yet to fill finalize plans for our post wedding renewal and relaxation. Kip's parents were superbly generous in giving us a week of their timeshare, but we just haven't been able to find the right place yet.

The Cayman Islands or Barbados would be our first choices!

What's on the list of to-do's for February

I spent last weekend at home in Michigan with my Mom and Dad working on wedding plans.

We met with the wedding planner and put together plans for how we wanted the village green to be decorated and look when the big day came. We also talked with her about ideas for the reception.... ie. room set up, food display, timing...etc.

We then went to meet with the photographer and get and idea of what was offered in her wedding packages. We are impressed with her work and look forward to recieving some really memorable pictures of the day.

Lastly, we met with the catering. My mom and I created food for the catering that I wanted to have at the wedding (some of it was food he hadn't made before!) He liked everything that we made and was happy to recreate it for our reception.

We also made a to-do list for myself, my mom and the wedding planner. It was extensively to say the list!! Who knew it would be so time intensive!
